This Homegrown Banana Smoothie is one of my favourite smoothie blends that uses the natural sweetness of freshly picked bananas right from your backyard. This recipe combines the flavors of homegrown bananas with creamy peanut butter, protein-rich powder, and a hint of cinnamon and vanilla, resulting in a nourishing and satisfying treat. Whether you’re starting your day with a nutritious breakfast or refueling after a workout, this smoothie is sure to become a favourite.

Simple Banana Smoothie

Making smoothies doesn't have to to be hard. Keep it simple!
Servings 1 serves

Ingredients
  

  • Ice
  • 1 ripe banana Bonus points if its homegrown!
  • 1 spoonful of peanut butter as big as you like
  • 1 scoop of protein powder of your choice
  • 300 ml Milk of choice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks.
  • Add the banana chunks, spoonful of peanut butter, scoop of protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt to a blender.
  • Pour in the milk of your choice.
  • Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender for a refreshing chill.
  • Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness or thickness as desired, adding more milk or ice if needed.
  • Pour your delicious banana smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
